Michael Birchenall is Editor and Publisher of Foodservice Monthly, a regional trade publication covering the foodservice industry of the Mid-Atlantic (DE, DC, MD, VA). Philadelphia will be added in January 2008.
His photographs have appeared in The Washington Post, the annual Dining Guide for Where magazine, Capitol File, Washington Business Journal, DC Style and in the newest award winning cookbook by Joan Nathan, “The New American Cooking.”
Mr. Birchenall is a member of the National Press Photographers Association and is a Board Member of the Vinifera Wine Growers Association and the Maryland Hospitality Education Foundation.
Foodservice Monthly is a member of the National Restaurant Association, Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington (RAMW), Restaurant Association of Maryland (RAM) and the Ocean City Hotel Motel and Restaurant Association (OCHMRA).
Foodservice Monthly was recognized as RAM’s 2007 Allied Indiustry Member of the Year and by RAMW in 2007 as a finalist for Associate Member of the Year.
